Firmware 40.0.005 for Nokia 5800

It is already available the firmware update for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, this is the 40.0.005. With this update will have the most important developments that are included in the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic.

Home style widget with Nokia 5530;

Auto-switching mode (when in landscape mode, the phone automatically activates the QWERTY keyboard);

Refresh Icons “Sharing Online”, “Configuring Accessories”, “Configure Phone”;

Improved application “Updating Applications”, which also renames Upgrade SW;

The application “Data transfer” was also implemented in “Settings”;

Real Player Updated (12 October 2009);

Touch more responsive;

Improved stability.

   this is only for north america ??, becausse Im From south American so the updates are diferent or we can have later than north america

   hi,
   i would like to try the new firmware.
   i checked the nokia websites and the latest firmware they have put is 31.0.101.
   i tried *#0000# and options -> update
   and it said there are no updates.
   i’m reside in US.Where can i get the new firmware from? can you provide some links please.

   Im also in North America and Nokia Nsu is reporting the latest Firmware V31.0.101 for the 5800

   I’m in the UK and I have the RM356 and it’a not available to me through PC suite. It tells me I have the latest which is 31.0.101. I really want this new update. Any ideas anyone? Original poster maybe?

   I am still on V30.0.01.
   Cant find any updates online when i connect via OVI and nothing OTA as well..

   Mine is unbranded phone.
   i got the latest update of Nokia Software Updater and tried that as well.
   it still says that the latest version is V30.0.01
