Nokia could change the operating system of their mobile phones according to the Financial Time of Germany. Sources close to Nokia have declared that in future the platform Maemo could replace Symbian. The change can be real because Nokia already uses this operating system, based on Linux, for some terminals.
Although we believe that this may be only a rumor without much importance because Nokia paid a short while ago time $410 million by the Symbian and then released its code. It is an investment too large to change now to another operating system as it is Maemo.
